I know
you’re scared
In contrast
to the vibrant colors
of your heart
Though,
many questions asked
Yet,
a few answers supplied
to the echoes of your curiosity
Aren’t we all butterflies?
Not fully aware
of our time
Or of our
constituents
Or what
makes us perfect
and beautiful
Until
death kisses us.
See those butterflies?
They can’t see
their wings
Nor do they know
how beautiful they are
Or
the vast array of beauties
they have helped created
and nurtured in nature
Yes,
they haven’t realized
how their delicate body
that’s made of thin lines
And
how their fragile curves
have
fitted them for such vibrant colors
Or
how their daylight dances
have
placed broad smiles
on our faces.
Aren’t we all butterflies?
And just like
those butterflies
I see
the thin lines
on your skin
And the vibrant colors
of
your heart
You are
that butterfly
Hatched out
of its cocoon
Amazed
by its newfound form
Staring towards the sky
And for
what it’s worth
Delight
in your
nurtured attributes
Live
in this sunshine
Fly
and perch at intervals
But amplify
your momentum
So step out
of the shadows
Spread out your wings
And gracefully
display your beauty!
