You will always
regret
half-assing
your potentials
in the
dance of life
You are not
one thing
You are not
one or couple
of situations
You are not
that job
or title
Nor are you
that status-quo
As there’s no
such thing
as staying-put
in this dance
of life
So face
your life
with the rigors
it demands
A combination
of pain,
and pleasure
A combination
of joys
and nostalgia
A combination
of heartthrobs
and heartbreaks
A combination
of acceptance
and denials
So forget the
half-way or
half-assing
your efforts
For in this
dance of life,
we’ve only got
one shot
just before
the curtain
drops and fade
So why not
stretch outward,
And reach
inward
without apologies
Leaving
no path
untaken
in your quest
So explore
every inch
and depth
of your awesome self
as you groove
and jive
in your dance of life
forward.
