Ideas Shelved to Dreamland

It all began
with a concept

A thought
birthing to dreams

Dreams conceptualized
in forms of ideas

Ideas
in countless connection
of mental dots

Countless dots
of mental creation

A mental creation
only the conceiver
knows of

A creation
that could only
be explained by narrow narratives

Narratives
of the non-existent elements

Non-existent in the
seeable present – an unappreciated beauty
in the wild

A precious pearl
locked
in a faraway Dreamland
and far away
from today’s existence

A scary
and dreaded uninhabited place

A place
where no one could see
or even dare to reach

A land of fairytale

A shadow
in the dark – where none could see

A brainchild
that never saw
the lighting dawn
of reality

Because yesterday,
you said
it’s going to be tomorrow

Sure,
the tomorrow
you said yesterday
is today

As for today,
you’ve already pointed
to another tomorrow – a day that will never come

And tomorrow
you will say tomorrow

What a strong mind you’ve got
but a soft willpower

What a great imagination
you possess
but a weak followthrough

What a creative thinker you are
yet,
a lazy doer

Ideas enthusiast
but inertia impeded

Analytically endowed
but a weary implementor

An intelligent being you are
yet,
an apathetic human

Apathetic toward
your worthwhile conceived ideas

A cognitive faculty
with little momentum

What a gifted soul
but sabotaged with little outward actions

An unseen image
in the darkroom – an image
that’s half processed

An image
never sighted

A denial
of the ultimate expression
of form and being

Don’t shelve
your ideas in dreamland

Only to keep
within your mental faculty

Ideas locked away
in the conceived state of your rationale

A betrayal
to your world and our world

Ideas that were
never truly born

The ideas
you’ve shelved
to dreamland
